Rattan collection

Our furniture has been beautifully crafted with meticulous care by skilled artisans. Rattan is a natural material and each piece is unique, handmade and hand-finished which means there may be variations in weaving, texture and finish.

Care tips:

  • Clean gently. Dust regularly with a soft cloth
  • Never use hard chemical cleaners or abrasive creams
  • Keep dry. If it does become wet, try to dry outdoors in the sun to allow the natural material to return to its shape
  • Treat mildew at once. If mildew forms, use a strong bleach solution carefully to clean affected areas then dry immediately outdoors
  • You can vacuum rattan furniture with the brush attachment
  • Lift carefully rather than dragging when moving to avoid splitting of the natural fibres
  • Rattan needs some humidity. Keep away from severe heat which could warp the natural plant fibres

Painted Lacquer Collection

Our water-based top coat finishes are non-yellowing and have scratch, stain and sun-resistant qualities

Care tips:

  • Avoid strong direct sunlight which can lead to fading
  • Keep dry. Use coasters and desk pads to protect the top surface from marks, spills, scratches and wear
  • Wipe spills immediately to prevent lacklustre appearance or cracking
  • Avoid putting heavy items on top. Use a protective mat under decorative pieces
  • Dust regularly with a soft clean cloth or feather duster to prevent build up, which can be difficult to remove and affect the lustre

Cleaning tips:

  1. Put a teaspoon of mild soap in a gallon of warm water
  2. Dip a soft cloth and wring out excess water ensuring cloth is only damp – not wet
  3. Use gentle downward strokes (not circular motions) when wiping the furniture
  4. Avoid cleaning products with hard chemicals – especially ammonia and bleach
  5. Dry the furniture with a soft dry cloth which is not made from any harmful materials that could scratch the lacquer surface
